Hey guys.

I need a car because i crashed my 93 Accord. After a long hard search and many cars i found 96 XR7 that was in great shape and under 5000 wich was perfect for me. The car has 54000 miles on it and the oil has been changed every 3000 miles, the guy that owns the car now just purchased an EVO so he was just looking to get rid of the 4.6 heres a link to the EBAY (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6339&item=2483399723&rd=1) listing of the car. The car is located about 4 miles from my house so i drove over there with a friend today and took the car for a test drive and inspected it. It really is in great shape and im gonna pay the 4500 ebay buy now price for the car. Also the guy has snow chains in the trunk that hes gonna leave there for me.

What do you all think of this car.. IS it as great as i think it is?? Im 19 and will be using it for a daily driver + beating up some civics from a roll hopefully. And by the way the borla exhaust sounds amazing nice and deep.

XR7 is a great car. I own a 95 thunderbird w/the 4.6 V8-strong engine. Even though the cars are heavy, the engine still hauls ass bigtime. Just make sure you take it easy alittle when it's wet outside, cause RWD kicks the ass of the car out on fast turns. Traction Assist is great also. I always turn mine off cause i'm constantly providing the pavement with rubber and the air with white smoke :-)

The only MAJOR downside is the GAS.. Man, V8's hit you in the wallet i swear it. But the power is WORTH IT..

You'll love it. The power is great. They don't use gas to much if you drive easy, but who can drive them easy! lol!

BTW, checked out the specs on autotrader.com, stock 96 xr7 4.6 has 280ftlbs torque @ 3000rpm. Thats 15 more then me, and a lower rpm, you'll feel that jump at 3000 rpm for sure.
