'91 teg-3 / '00 civic ex-0

Haha my first kills in the teg happened about 2 hours ago. My cousins and one of their friends, who drives a 2000 Civic EX, came up today. They were about to leave to go to the mall so I decided I'd follow them. My older cousin rode with me. We came up to a red light. Me in my bone stock 1991 Integra LS, my cousins' friend in his Civic with AEM CAI sucking as he revved. I looked over gave a smile, revved the engine to about 4000 rpms at green let the clutch go and we were off! I could hear his intake working. At about 50 mph I was already past him. He didn't catch up after that we pulled up to another light. He said, "Damn, I didn't think you'd beat me that bad. Let's go again" I nodded my cousin beside me congratulating me on the last win. The light turns green and the same thing happened. When I shut down I was running approximately 105 mph. We raced again coming back from the mall and what happened? Well the same damn thing except the race was WAY shorter. Boy I can't wait to start modding my engine... *sigh* my other cousin who was with their friend challenged me to a race next weekend. He has a '97 with intake and exhaust.:smoker2:

I'm kind of glad I didn't get a Civic now. Not bashing on Civics or anything, but now that I've seen my Integra has equal potential I'm glad I got it:p

Nice story, I am very fond of integras myself (especially the 91-93 models bfore they changed the headlights and body style). Do u know the Hp ure integra pushes? I have always wondered how the engine was in that model, and nice job beating that civic :smoka:

Thanks!! As for my hp, it pushes 130. The '92 has 140 if I'm not mistaken. I love my car even if it is 10 years old. I've proven it can beat a car much newer and has more technology put into it.

good kill. the LS teg has very good potential for forced inductions. so it won't be long until you can kill yourself something better than a civic. good luck!

www.overboost.com is building one of those motors... my guess is that you have way more tq than that car too... which is how my lude is... so you can kill em off the line... but check out ob.com they are building a 500hp turbo ls motor... sweet stuff...

my friend has a 91 integra i think rs with a cold air intake and straight pipes (cat and muffler fell off) and its a manual so we lined up the other day i put my front bumper just behind his rear bumper to give him a little handicap and let him break (that means i wait till i see him move THEN i launch) and when we ended his front bumper was right at my back wheels i was like WTF! a brand new civic with intake headers and exhaust would have been like a length or more back i was definately surprised. im still trying to figure out why its so fast, maybe when i figure it out i can tell u cuz sounds like u also have the "abnormally fast integra syndrome" :D
