check engine light.

95 buick riv, light comes on and goes off, the shop said it was a cam position sensor but them put a new one in and it didn't help, so now they want to put in a crank sensor.....any ideas???? also the idel is not steady.

If that is what the code reader says. Rough idle could be related or could be a list of things. spark plugs, IAC valve, Plug Wires, Fuel Injector, EGR Valve, Vacuum Leak, Throttle Position Sensor, etc... Good Luck.

Now they say thier is nothing wrong with my car and the light is just comming on because of a frayed or shrt in a wire.
