A recent 'stinky' thread got me thinking about this, how's about everyone posts some of their favorite toys/action figures from childhood. Try and be as specific as possible

1. Aliens by Kenner

I must have had 15-20 dinosaurs with tons of figures and vehicles. Including the Command Compound with Dino Damage.

4. Any classic Lego, especially the Town set with the Sail N' Fly Marina and the Cowboy and Indian sets.

Never really played with toys....and yes I did have a normal childhood

The old school Legos! I loved those!

I had all that Jurassic Park and G.I. Joe stuff. I also had Ninja Turtles.

It's ALL about the LEGOS.

I was way into GI Joe...had the remote controlled tank, the F-16, battle Jeep, Cobra chopper etc.

Also remember being into Matchbox cars (naturally) and Star Wars action figures...

G.I. Joes, old school Legos (still got em), matchbox cars (hated hot wheels), NINENTDO, Lincoln Logs, and the supersoakers that actually held a lot of water and shot hard...

I still have loads of old legos too. I had the supersoaker 100. That thing ruled.

Who could forget the matchbox and hotwheels? I had those playmats that had pictures of roads and buildings so you could drive around and other stupid shit. Now that was fun.

As for lego, my brother and I had a ton of castle and space stuff. My favorite was the Blacktron II series. I had one of these

Lego, before it went to crap.

When my brothers sold their collection off (this was just the stuff that was theirs, not the family's) it was 2 14"x12"x14" boxes stuffed full, totaling 37 lbs. It sold on eBay for over $1k. :o

I only liked LEGO basic, though, to build houses.

Old skool lego Technic!

I had a talking GI Joe, and some other funky little futuristic toy tank thing, it was like a tank that could break into two seperate tanks, and you could mix and match bits and pieces of the tanks.

The old metal Voltron...that came apart and you could shoot stuff out of the individual tiger's mouths. I had them all and somehow I lost them between here and Venezuela.

Eversio, your my new favorite person!!! I loved all of those and had everyone of the Aliens, Predators, and Jurassic Park figures. Many G.I. Joes and Legos!!! :thumbsup: :D

i used to have toy wrestlers, that i used to take into the bathtub with me and used to pretend they were wrestling each other, and doing supplexes and stuff off of the bathroom faucet and stuff.

I'd love to have all my old school Transformers back... :(

And I had tons of the space LEGO sets. Those were awesome...

Lawn darts, wood burning kit, and firecrackers. (Anyone that listens to Jeff Foxworthy will recognize these)

hmm I was all about the lego's. I had the big midevil castle set, big race set, big o pirate ship and of corse the house...(why did I have a f'ing house set?)

:iagree:Before Atari and Nintendo rolled around, Ninja Turtles were definitely in my toybox! Also, I used to have the Castle Greyskull playset...and that bee looking guy and Skeletor always fighting them with my He-Man battle-damage guy. OOh, those cars with the plastic tracks that you could get tons of and make a custom track...those were awesome!

-Crash Test Dummies crash testing site with Larry the crash dummy
-The Tonka Dump Truck that was 90% metal...none of these cheap plastic ones
-a John Deere Tractor....bout the size of the dump truck
-a sega genesis
-Hot Wheels Attack Pack (where it was half car, half beast and the front end would open to reveal teeth and a tongue) I had the big cement mixer that turned into a giant flying monster of death. It came complete with slime too:biggrin:
i have some more stuff hanging around....the weird thing about all this stuff? i think that i still have most of it somewhere around the house:rolleyes:

I forgot about my metal Tonka trucks :( My brother and I had a dump truck, a cement mixer, a bulldozer, and a grader. My mom sold them in a garage sale :crying:

Oh yeah, I had one Predator action figure where the faceplate thing came off. Awesome stuff

I had that supersoaker that was kind of small, but the tank could detach and it came with 3 tanks. but i guess it was a prototype because the tank was really hard to get it on, and even harder to get it off, and one day i was running around shooting friends with one hand and the stupid tank shot out of the gun and hit me straight in the right eye.

i have yet to read anything about STARCON i wanna know if anyone else had them or still do cuz they kicked some serious ass!
when i was a kid i got all my older brothers toys...
-ninja turtles
-the heman light up sound making sword(super kickass)
-legos, lots and lots of legos
-he man action figures
-we had nintendo and we constantly played super mario bros. 3(best game of all time IMO)
-lincoln logs
-super soakers were fun too

but probably the most fun i ever had was with my brothers because they were always finding fun stuff to do. but the best/worst toy ever was me. my brothers used to do shit to me all the time. like tie me up and hide me places for my mom to find, once they put me in one of those fisher price orange and yellow plastic cars and folded down the top and stuffed me with some pillows in there and pulled me around on with thier bikes... LOTS OF FUN, ahh the memories

Lego was great, until they turned crap in 1997 (With this lame-assed Town sets that were easy to build) Castle, Space and Pirates were the best, as well as the old-school town sets. Í had my lego shipped over last year- I still buy the Harry Potter ones- decent stuff.

Then there were Micro machines, still have about 400 of them.

I almost cried when I saw what crap Mattel have turned Matchbox and hot wheels into- THE CARS DON'T EVEN LOOK REAL!!!! I yearn for the days of Universal Toys ownership of the Matchbox franchise.

I had those too. As well as all the G.I. Joe stuff. I had this huge GI Joe fortress, but I can't find pics of it. I had this convertible Corvette i used to drop from my bedroom balcony on the 5th floor, and the only thing that broke was the windscreen. It confused the shit out of me why toy cars were seemingly more robust than real ones :iceslolan

I think I had that exact same one as well. They were pretty tough. I would usually chunk em in the air and see how long it would take to break em. Usually a while.

All the toys that I ruined playing in the sandbox with I ended up burning on my driveway, creating a huge bonfire of burning plastic and metal. That was fun.

Mine are still in a collection of shoeboxes somewhere. Never gonna burn them :)

But, Im another car smasher!
I smashed a few old matchbox cars with the hammer.
Iv got a box full of them stashed at my parents though, in a variety of conditions (some as new, others well used).

Theres also a 40L fish bucket filled with Lego at my parents, all of it from the early 80s.

i used to read beano and dandy every week and i always played with my lego and toy cars, "matchbox lead the way!!"
