Brake noise on 96 Altima

With just 5000 miles on my last front brake/rotor job, the passenger side brakes began making a "clicking" sound as I came to a stop. The garage said I should have had ceramic pads installed the first time and now I need new rotors as well because they were abnormally grooved. I installed new rotors/ceramic pads the other day and the problem went away for 2 days before it reappeared with the same noise as before. It's only on the passenger side and the calipers and hoses all looked good so I'm not sure what it could be. It's not pulsating, just a clicking sound. One thing. I bought the car used and have noticed that the brakes have always been a bit on the noisy side. Is this common on Altima's?
