need help asap belt broke

how do i change the alternator belt???? i need to know how asap i gotta be at work in 1 hour

get a new serpentine belt, there's a tensioner bolt somewhere that you turn with a wrench to loosen it up to remove the old one and put the new one on, there should be a diagram for belt routing on the fan shroud.

yeah, although if im right, its not a bolt, its a square peg for a 3/8 in ratchet to fit into, rotate the tensioner to the slack position, install the belt, and let the tentioner out till it is holding the belt firmly.

yeah my friend fiquired it out while i was at work quite funny when u think about it that the belt ripped in half and ripped the towel in 1/2 with it lol next time he knows not to polish the alternator wheil the car is on haha
