1990 integra ls at........check engine light

My car dies didn't see the check engine light on until after a shop put on a new distrubitor.....not sure if it did prior or not....but how or what do I need to find out the codes.

on your passanger side floor, under the carpet by the firewall, pull that up and llok for the flashing red light on your ecu, count the number of flashes and tell me the count, and ill tell ya what the code is. short flashes such as . . . . mean a code 4, whereas something like . ... . ... mean a code 1 and a code 3

One long blink followed by 5 shorts = 15? If so....... It's Ignition Output Signal. Any ideas?

The check engine light came on before but I didn't see the error......I did just have (Yesterday) a shop put in another distrubitor......the engine will go for about 5 mins and shut off in my garage....

if your getting the 15, and you just ahd the dizzy replaced, then the a sensor is either not connected right or is bad, have the shop check it out for you.
