88' Astro Van INJ. Fuse - Electrical Issue

After putting a new stereo in, I started getting an intermitent (sp?) short that causes the inj. fuse to blow, which stops the car from running or starting.
I take the stereo out, and it still blows fuses. Right now it's gone from happening every once and a while, usually when I go over a bump, too now it blowing the fuse every time. It's like a dead short, and I've done a lot of wire wiggling to no avail.
I can't figure out what's all on that circuit, though I know that the stereo isn't.
Any help, would be greatly appreciated, as it's sitting next to the road with dash torn appart, right now :)
Thanks,
Justin

First undo the wiring changes you made installing the power and ground wires to the stereo. Put the original van wiring back to original condition. As you do this look for shorts and ground connections. If that doesn't fix it, then check the fuses. Don't replace the fuses first because you might further damage the electronics. If this doesn't fix it you probably have damaged some electronic component. If you have already removed the stereo wiring then go back through the wiring that you changed and look at the wiring around where you were working to see if you disturbed something unrelated to what you were doing. Disconnect the battery before you start as sparks can damage the electronics. Good luck.
