When my windows are down or partially up, I can move them back and fourth. They tend to jiggle around alot. Is there any way I can tighten the track that holds the window so it won't jiggle back and fourth?

Take off your door panel and take a look.

I have taken off the door panel to look, but there is no way I can see how to tighten the track. Is there some bolt the I can tighten it with? I've seen it for the 3rd gens.

I have a haynes manual but it's crap. It really only covers 3rd gen civics for their body. It has picture of the doors in it, but when I took off my door panels, it's completely different. What do you think may have broke?

Actually, it's both front windows. My little door arm that connects the door and body so it won't shut is borken off on my side but I don't think that has anything to do with it. And the car is completely rust free. ONe thing I forgot to mention was that the window is only loose up towards the mirror, and it's tight right up next to the door pillar. It's the track on the mirror side.

Thanks Turtlecrxsi, That's really helpful. I guess it's that front channel that's needs to be tighten. It says that there is two bolts and a nut on it. Would that nut be the things that tightens the channel?
