My dad has a '93 lt1 corvette and he's letting me redo alot of things. He pays for the essentials and I pay for extras. But I'm not sure exactly what to get. I am goin along the lines of make it run good then make it sound good then make it look good. I looked at performance but im not sure what to start with. any ideas please? :eek7:

Gotta pay to play... but the Vette would have some serious grunt after those goodies. Around 430-450hp. Hopefully you're not in CA, or any state with strict emissions laws, cause I can't garuantee that the car would pass after those upgrades.

If I were you, and were to do the LT1-LT4 conversion. I'd rebuild the bottom end, meaning pull the motor and rebuild it. If you were to put on new heads, cam and all new valvetrain that are tight and not broken in on a older lose motor. You'll kill your oil pump in a heart beat and the whole thing would be toast.

Unless the Vette has low miles, I wouldn't throw on the new heads/cam/valvetrain.

Also, you might want to look into a upgrade for the clutch/flywheel if it's a manual.

Good luck.
