Murdered a jdm b16 powered CRX.

the other night my friend and i were driving around in my car when i drive past the local MegaMobil. i see my other friend joey pulling out in his 91 crx dx w/ jdm b16 swap in it. his registration lists his cars weight as 1900lbs and he has a chipped ECU, intake, full exhaust, a punched cat and a short throw shifter. so he pulls up next to me and from 30 mph we go at it. he got the jump cuz i didn't know if he wanted to race or not, then he just beeps three times real quick and takes off before i could even downshift, regardless i caught up and took him by about a car length or possibly less, we shut down at about 115mph. so we catch a light next to each other and he says "why don't we run this right?" so as the light goes green i hear him squealing his tires and i just got a real nice launch and instantly put his front wheels even with my back wheels. i hear him rail 2nd gear and then i do the same and i just walk slightly further, probably about a car length and then go into 3rd gear ,( which i chirped quite loudly to my surprise)and i was still gaining slightly, right there i knew i was gonna win it cuz his 3rd gear only tops out at 87 mph where the max's goes to almost 100. by about 5500 rpm in 3rd i had put about another car length on him and then he shifted and i still had another 7-800 rpm so i pulled real hard when he shifted and finished the race about 4 car lengths ahead of him, before we caught up to the traffic ahead of us. he did have 2 other kids with him but i had another person too so i'll give him an extra car length for the weight factor, i still put it on him by quite a bit. the next day he beeped me up on my 2 way and gives me some BS about his clutch slipping cuz of a burnout he did a few hours before we raced. last i checked cars with slipping clutches didn't chirp 3rd gear. but i told him i'd give him another go at my car.

He got eaten and needs to bow down the the Almighty VQ!!!

i posted this in the street racing forums too and we have a non believer. guess i gotta break out the digi cam and show them my friends car.

I'll take a look at it.......:rolleyes:.....non-believers will soon be converted.
