Hi,
This is a Tamiya Subaru Impreza kit. I bought it 2 days ago. It's very easy kit, there's no engine, suspension and chassis are veeeeery simple. I started make a front bumper. Tomorrow I will make rear bumper. I build these parts by Revell Plasto. When it will be done I will paint it green metalic (I know that's ugly color for Subaru).
There's photos:

I love the GT-R badge up front... hehe, hopefully that will be removed before you finish it :).
Looks good so far, did you use an R-33 front?

OMG! You stole my no scoop idea! *glares* Actually, the WRX does look pretty cool with no scoop, and I am making my own. Looks like a fun project, lots of body work with the putty. Must be fun. Question, who do you get such straight lines in the putty? Do you cut that part our before it dries or sand it down alot?

A majority of the straight lines appear to be from the entire GT-R front end :). I don't think he's really reached the sanding stage yet.

Wow!
The scoopless Impreza becomes popular, I'm building one with a VeilSide bodykit.

I've sanded and patched it with putty for a few times.
The front of the car is adapted from Skyline R33. Color is number is TS64 (Dark Mica Blue) by Tamiya.

I'm puttying for my first time and I want to know, how do you fill in those little cracks and gaps without laying down a whole nother layer of putty?

I think you should lay down another small layer of putty and sand it all again

Nice work! Front end looks cool. Shouldn't you be using styrene instead of 25 kilograms of putty? Keep it up!
Johnnie

in Poland we don't have a styrene... :(

Looks great. Excellent work, and you are very talented. Just one tip for your next project. When using a lot of putty, especially putty that is not mixed in two parts it will shrink and continue to shrink forever because it cures by removing moisture. When you paint the putty can expand, absorb, shrink and crack unless its a two part putty that cured chemically.
All in all, good work so far, can wait to see more.
