2002 service engine soon (SES)

I have a 2002 chevy tahoe and the service engin soon just came on all though the engine seams to be running fine, so i would like to know if some one can tell me how the reset the SES light

You should probably get it scanned to see what the problem was. I think Autozone will scan it for free, or if its still under warranty, just get a dealer to check it. Sometimes the SES can be cleared by disconnecting the neg. battery terminal for a couple hours, but not always. At any rate, best to find out what set the code, since it will probably just get set again!

Yeah, I would definitely get it scanned to see what the problem is. I dont think you can reset these newer model vehicles without a code reader. They are relatively cheap. I bought one for like $90. A good investment IMO.
