My room is going under renovation! (Pics)

This week I have been busy cleaning out my room, removing drapes on the windows, masking the edges with tape, and pasting dents and holes in the wall. I am now in the process of getting new furniture and painting my room blue check it out.

Tommorow, all of the furniture is being donated to charity and I am going to paint my room light blue I get pics once I start painting

Pfft. Blue is teh b0ring. Paint it blood red or electric Subaru WRC blue (with pearl) or something. And then add altezzas. :2cents:

It just wouldn't be complete without a chrome RPS muffler wedged through the window ;)

LOL, Anyways, The blue I'm using is more of a sky blue with some teal tint in it. I'll show you tommorow. Also, It took me one whole day just to mask the room.

get a wing for you windows and chrome shift knob for the door nob. and get a bar fridge full of tequila :iceslolan

I remember my room was black when we moved in, now it's painted a much lighter colour. So much better.

Anyway, it's always fun to repaint and rearrange stuff, makes it seem different and more exciting for a while.

All of the furniture and half of the belongings in there are going to be donated and given away. So now I have no furniture for a while.

I'm movin' into my dorm room in a couple of weeks so my cool room is gone and my sharp objects collection is staying there :(

In all fairness, the room isn't ALL red...that shot was taken from the doorway. I only bought one gal of red ($25!!!) and painted only the walls you can see from the doorway, so everyone would look in the door and think we're crazy crackheads that painted the whole damn room red.

But all the walls NOT facing the doorway are white.

We painted it that way when we moved in...I figured red would be good for a music room (piano and turntables and my vertical record player) and if we had kids, it could be firetrucks/ghostbusters for a boy, and hearts or something for a girl. And sure Nicholas can come DJ! The rest of us will watch GSN, Discovery, and Law&Order while he does. :p

The rest of the house is:
Hallway: Black w/ white trim.
Bathroom: going to be JCZ1987's-avatar-blue when I finish.
Our bedroom: Light gray w/ the same dk. gray ceiling.
Living room: Jungle green w/ dark green ceiling.
Kitchen: haven't painted yet.

JCZ - like the blue - reminds me of a robin's egg. I'm all for anything but white/offwhite walls...can you tell we were sick of apartment colors?

Nope. I'm use to it even if I'm barfoot. Its nice whens its nice and cold when you wake up in a warm summer morining.
