As I said on my Web Gallery, I made it boxstock

As far as I know, I'm one of the only one that did one here (few modeller have the kit but never started or ended it)

I have the street version of the kit, but haven't built it yet. To my eyes, the turbos may be a tad small, but I don't think they're incorrect- they match the references I have pretty well. The things that I think need the most attention are the kit exhaust manifolds- they're awful. I'll probably try to scratchbuild shell that surrounds them, using the kit parts as a base. The other thing I would scratchbuild, if I were more concerned about accuracy than appearence, would be the large flat heat shields that fit right above the exhaust lines heading to the muffler, under the waste gate (I don't know if this is present on the LM, but it is on all the street cars with the possible exeption of the prototypes). Either way, all the pics I've seen show the turbos burried pretty deep behind/under the air intake scoops, intercoolers, susspension, and exausts- they're hardly visible, and then more as a tangle of plumbing than easily recognisable shapes.

What in particular is incorrect about the turbos?

well look at them again cause the exh is part of the compressor housing. instead of being part of the exh housing totally wrong.

Yeah, looks like you're right. I don't think it's something I would have noticed until starting the kit. Does it really take scratchbuilding new turbos to fix? I would have thought to cut of the exhaust inlet from the intake compressor housing, attach it to the exhaust compressor housing, and adjust the exhast manifolds (which need work anyway) to fit. Haven't built them up yet, but other than this error, the turbos look fairly decent- and I'm still curious about how visible they are when finished.

Got any pics of what you're doing?
