Hey everyone....just checking if anyone has replaced their stock SRS airbag wheel....I am looking for the round piece that goes on the steering column behind the airbag....also looking for the part and cables that holds the bulb to light up the SRS light on the dash. My sol is a 1993.

This link is exactly what I need http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7908032158&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT(except missing that light & wires to the gauge part) would this fit mine?

If anyone has this set up or even any parts I would love to buy it off you....thanks for your input anyone =)

Not sure about what you need to replace the SRS. As far as I know, the airbag itself can be replaced without having to replace the whole steering wheel. It actually can be removed from the steering wheel.

The SRS light in your cluster is just a bulb like the other cluster bulbs. You can probably get one from Honda for about $3.

Hey Plastic_Fork,

I need the whole wheel & airbag setup....I think I found one on ebay that fits a 92-95 civic...not 100% if I can use it in my 93 del sol....any idea on that?

For the SRS light....it's the part that holds the bulb that I need...behind my dash (top left) there's a hole in that spot so I am guessing I need some wires there to connect a bulb.

The stock wheel is gone & I have a sparco wheel I am pulling out...I need stock wheel & airbag setup. I prefer it anyway.....not a fan of the wheel I have right now....will most likely sell it.

Ok, I gotcha now. I would think the Civic wheel would work. They're from the same years and design, so I think the slot on the back of the wheel matches up. I don't think you'd have issues with it. The wheel you found on eBay looks just like mine.

As for the SRS light, the hole is there, but it's just a bulb. It's one of those twist-in bulb things. Just like your other guage lights. You have a plastic "cup" thing that you push the bulb in and then just put the bulb in the hole and twist to secure. You should see the copper ring around the hole on the printed circuit - the bulb gets it's power from that. No wires needed.

If I didn't keep losing clips every time I take my guage bezel out, I'd take out my cluster and grab a pic for you. You can get the whole bulb and "cup" thing from Honda for about $3.
