Modding a car does not up the value, it does the opposite.

take off everything and sell the car stock and sell each piece alone. Its funny how this works but, nothing is OEM and OEM is always priced higher. All those mods are nothing to brag about, instead to cry about because people may pay less for all that. You're throwing money in a shredder if you're investing in a car you're about to sell.

Dont mean to jack anyones thread, but what about a 95 Dx coupe with 110,000 miles.

3 months ago I had:

Swapped a JDM D15B Vtec (127 hp) for the D15B7 (100 hp)
replaced stock clutch with exedy stage 1 clutch (brand new)
both axles switched out with new ones
put in pioneer head unit with 2 infinity 6x9s in the back

The new engine had about 40K miles on it.

The car also has a DC header, intake and magnaflow or dynomax exhaust.

The engine does have an idleing problem, but the check engine light is NOT on. There are quite a few paint chips, mainly on the front bumper and there's a little rust. The windshield has 2 cracks (100 bucks for a new one) and the driver's side regulator is bent, so the window can't be opened (20 bucks fix)

I'm asking for $2,950 just to pay the balance I have on it off and transfer the title.

Is that too much to ask for? The car needs a little tune up.

Even though your car needs a lil work, you're asking price is beautiful, in fact, kinda low I would think. But your price is very nice. Especially with that newer engine. My engine is a D16Y8 from a 98 civic and came with 36,500 miles on it. Mine is a 92. I've invested too much in my car to even sell it (Meaning it runs like new, not power wise). My car is in like near new condition and I replaced almost everything. I am going to buy another car in a few months still, (BMW 325i) but I am NEVER getting rid of this car. I will drive it untill it dies. I dont mind having umm... 3 cars.......shit......insurance on 3 cars.... that sucks....but... I'll just take the insurance off of the explorer I guess for a while.

Well, now go and find me a buyer :iceslolan

I said before that I'm giving $100 to the person that finds me a buyer for this car. I just wanna get rid of it, Im not making any money on it. The longer I have it, the more I have to pay on it.
