After instaling a new head unit It wasn't working so I checked the fuse panel and found a burnt up fuse after replacing it, I plugged the head unit back in and turned on the car. The unit came on for about 20 seconds and the 10 fuse in the back near the plug burned up. I made a trip to radioshack to replace it and after replacing that fuse it burned again, now I have 2 fuses left and don't want to waste them. I need help finding the problem out, can anyone help me out?

Double check your connections. And make sure the connections you made are the correct ones. If its all correct. You may have to wire it to another power source

My connections all look ok to me, i have taken them all apart and put them back together just to blow another fuse, what wire(s) would be the problem, when the stock unit is in it works fine, but with the Pioneer it burns up that 10 fuse on the back of the unit.

I forgot to mention that befor it burned up the fuse the first time I went to grab the unit and it put blisters on two of my fingers form being hot.

Would it be a ground problem, or the red or yellow wires, when I switch them no fuse burns, but the unit doesn't turn on either.

oh i forgot, it burns the fuse before I even turn the car on, and with the constant power, yellow, one unplugged the unit doesn't work.

does anyone have any idea at all?

I dont know what the gray wire is. It should say on the wire. Is that a new out of the box unit or new to you? Sounds like one of your power wires are grounding out. try running a wire directly from the battery to that yellow wire. just run it from the battery through the window to test it.
