Well I have seen on 1999.co.jp the content and instructions. Seriously, this car is a real Ripoff.

Ok, I know resin kit are expensive. Some of them worth it. but Fujimi just don't have the quality and the details needed for this price.
This one would be fair priced at 90$us, not more.

Yeah that's a major rip-off. I don't even like the look of the model.

If it were a beautifully executed model of a beautiful car, perhaps.

But this thing is hideous! :disappoin

It's not a ripoff if you don't buy it. If someone wants it bad enough, I guess....I wonder how long HLJ will sit on these things before throwing them on the sale rack?

I've seen the real car in person at Tokyo Auto Show. It's stunningly unique and very interesting modeling subject. I even got drawings done, because I thought no one would ever make a model of it. But at 20,000 yen ,I'll certainly pass.

BTW, the chassis of the Orochi is actually NSX, kinda like the Rapter based on the Diablo.

Great, so we've got a really expensive Fujimi garage kit of an expensive Japanese Fiero-kit car, more or less.

Ugh, thank god for Revell and Polar Lights. Good kits at prices that don't rival parts for my 1:1 scale project.

that car is just disgusting

I understand that the price is high because the car is little known and they need to recoupe their manufacturing costs, but I think people just won't buy it not because of the price, but just because the car isn't regarded as attractive.

Why the surprise? It is a resin and white metal multimedia kit. The price is quite common for such "niche" kits. Only thing unusual is that it is by a major maunfacturer like Fujimi. It is usually smaller "garage" concerns who produce such kits.
