In a demo derby the gt would have the advantage due to weight and quality. the focus is just too flimsy to hold up. I still don't see how street tires would be a factor.
lol

Stars? no screw he stars, I am doing this for a thesis for my psychology graduate exam? I specialize in social psychology and am currently writting a report on the psychology and social asspect of street racing. there is so much crap talking bad about street racing I figured I bring it to light and show how good shit comes out of developing healthy competative habits in contrast to gangs and drug habits. The reason for the different posts through out the forums is to establish a "home turf" point of defesnse and show how drivers will always stick up for thier cars out of respect and passion for thier rides! do you honestly think can get a straight answer from posting it on a street race forum or do you think any 3000GT owner will admit to being inferior to say a Hyundai Tiburon? OF COURSE NOT! now can I please get back to gathering my control subjects?
To all of you who actually answered the original question: Thank you very much for your input, will anyone else like to comment?

post these in the car comparison forum. don't flood the street racing forum with what ifs and comparisons. not tryna be a dick but those are the rules, yogs would tell you the same thing.

hahahahaha calm down there buddy Im talking about my stars not yours :screwy: and why not state that your car is inferior to others, theres always going to be a car that is faster or better if thats what your talking about than yours you just have to admit it

Why not just come up with a list of cars and post them in one thread, instead of posting a bunch of "This Car vs 3000GT SL" Threads.

Instead of posting a bunch of "3000GT vs. Insert car here" threads, try making 1 big "3000GT vs. Everything" thread, much easier on all of us...

This seems to happen in every thread, no matter how nice it starts, eveyone gets their balls in a knot and starts bickering. So here is my answer, in a demo derby like lamehonda said, the 3000 GT would win, but in a rally race, the Focus would win, it really all depends on what scenario the 2 cars are in.

I hope to God not all of the AF members have balls  Yea, this child is way too vague about his questions
