Thanks for the advice and the weblink.. website generally seems really helpful.. how does the Greddy exhaust sound in camparison? Also just picked up edelbrock exhaust manifold, have you heard much about them?

i am really pleased with my greddy. i have had alot of compliments on how it does not sound like a coffee can. but i did pay $500 for it. i try to stay away from the cheap ass ear ringing exhausts. but i have heard really good things about thermal research and development. i know one guy that has one on his eclipse and i about fill the cup when i stand next to it at idle.

The only problem with thermal exhausts for a n/a teg is that they're only 2.25 inches, slightly smaller than most. If you get the N1, a warning: it's LOUD. Really LOUD, at least without the silencer.

Will def keep posted on any purchase, so far seems like Greddy, Skunk2 or Thermal R and D.. Somehow expected people to come back saying go for Mugen or Spoon.. are they generally a rip off for what you get? or do they deliver the ultimate hp gain?? personally, think its far too much dough for an exhaust!!!
neway at the mo jus waiting for my manifold to arr, an guesses on fitment cost??
thanks

his is actually on a 2nd gen eclipse. and it in no way sounds at all like my greddy. i think i did good by getting the graddy, great sound and performance. but after hearing my friends Thermal R & D exhaust, i wish i woulda gotten one of them. and he says that he got a pretty god gain from it also. and his exhaust sounds soooo sweat from idle all the way to 8k rpm's.

My opinion, Greddy evo2. I hear skunk2 is great too. Spoon is top of the line, but at most, your only looking at 5 hp more, if even. Depends on your bank.
