i just tried something new i painted my supra with a enamel, and so far im not liking the way it looks, the paint is really rough, and it takes a very long time to harden. im thinking about taking it off and going back to tamiya paint in the can. is there something i can use to take off the enamel w/o melting or deforming the plastic? and im not very good at sanding, so i dont think i want to try that and possibly ruin the model

I've had great luck with CSC (Castrol Super Clean). It's a cleaner/degreaser available at auto parts stores. Just get a plastic or glass container, fill it with CSC, and give the car body a bath for a few hours.
Let me know if you need to know more about it, and we'll dig up some more threads... :D

Does anyone else think we could really use a FAQ section?

Wow! Cool! Patiently looking forward to it. Why I posted this question is because I've lost count of the times that this question has been raised.

CSC is like $3.88 at autozone, theres enough to cover one model if you have the right shape container.

A toothbrush will help remove paint out of tight places.
