My 95 Regal has a cooling problem. I don't get much fan blower on the vents, even in max mode. When I step on the gas, the blower nearly stops...then resumes when I drop back to a cruise power setting. The A/C is not very cold, half blows out the top vent onto the windshield and fogs it up. Is my ducting blocked?

Does your A/C compressor turn on? The fogging up of the windshield tells me it is not. Conditioned air is not humid like the air that fogs up your windshield. The compressor will turn off at wide open throttle to prevent damage or overcooling. I can't explain the blower fan fluctuating with the gas pedal though. Your climate control unit could be bad because it appears it isn't routing the air like it should.

if stuff if fogging up, it usually means that a heater core is going out. Wipe down the insides of your floor vents and if their is any greasy green/pink (Depends on the coolant you use) wet stuff then you have a heater core going bad. As far as your blower, it is a very simple circuit, you have your switch and a resitor pak. Thoes two things are usually the cause of 80% of all blower problems. Check thoes two items and get back to me. Use a multimeter to check the continuity of the switch at different positions, and use a multimeter set on the ohm's setting to check the resitors. You will have to find out what ohm resitiors are in the resitor pak
