See it is real, it was at Goodwood Festival of Speed 2004 it's Mclaren airfix kit for Senna's 1989 car

I can see this being real.
If some company is hosting an event and they need something to draw attention to a model kit, this would be the way to do it.

Have to get a bigger workbench for that one :-D and pursuade Tamiya to "scale up" their TS-range of color so one bottle will be enough.

Definitely is real, awesome though.

One way to tell is that in the pic with lots of people, you can see some of the model where the guy's hair parts or separates.
