Stolen Tail Lights

So I get home from work today and walk around the back of my truck, and what do I see?? Some fucking douche bag stole the damn tail lights off my truck!! :banghead: Who the fuck does that?? :mad:

That sucks, but it seems to be common. Nissan Maximas are notorious for having their headlights disappear. Thieves can sell the high voltage arc type headlight bulbs and power converter, but to get them they swipe the entire light and usually cause body damage to the tune of a couple of grand.

No, I don't know who did it. I was just saying I figured if they were going to go through the trouble to steal something off my truck they would have gone ahead and taken something more valuable than just the taillights.

Thieves usually aren't that smart though...my dad once had a $100 window knocked out for a $5 pair of glasses. And they left the stereo! Dumb bastards.

Anyhow, sorry it happened. I'd be TICKED if my tails went missing...though come to think of it I have a spare set in the trunk.

Actually it's laziness..I bought a 2nd set for my brothers to convert to LED and when we put those on, we put the old ones in the trunk. Never got around to taking them out. If I get rearended, I'll be screwed w/ 2 broken sets.

I wish I had seen the douche bag taking off my tail lights! I would have beat his ass!! Or at least tried. I'm kinda small so I would have gone straight for the balls. It would have been pretty funny too see!! :smile:

Yeah, well my truck is pretty unique, lots of extras on it, so I'd easily be able to notice a switch. Besides, I am incredibly observent when it comes to my truck. (mabee even a little obsessed, I know where every single scratch is on that bitch!!) :biggrin:

I see them around here all the time. I think it looks ghey, but that is someone elses problem.... I think almost any kind of upgrade taillight is a cosmetic upgrade.

Now, If you are in a small town, you can do to your local traffic management office and see who has reported an accident with a truck similar to yours around the same time you had yours taken...
