questions on dyno tuning?

i'm just getting my license and i'm a newb at everything so could someone please clarify what this "dyno tuning" is. i'll look at forums and people will be talking about dyno tuning and i'm clueless to what that is.

ill tell you a breaked down version of what it is..

it tells you your wheel horsepower and your torque
it has other purposes but that is one of the main reasons people use it

At a shop that has a dyno. Call around the performance shops near you and see if you can find one.

Also, with electronics such as the E-manage, SAFC II, or SAFR, tuning of the Air/Fuel ratios (and ignition timing with the E-manage) allows for more horsepower with better fuel economy.
