Good afternoon, here's the completed pictures for my little s800 I've started last year. It's not the fujimi kit, I've made some very simple mods and did the Tetsu Ikuzawa version, I thought it looked cool.
As soon as the weather allows it I will take some pictures outside.

I dedicate this car to Japanese racing fan :icon16:

some progress pictures can be seen here (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=132480)

I liek the use of real tape as opposed to a decal for headlight protection. Nice!
Very cool conversion

Great model! Just fantastic. Long time coming but it was worth it... rockin'! I got a question - what's that little trapezoidal extension sticking off the body into the engine bay at the back edge of the hood, the part with a hole through it? I figure it's to hold the hood in place when closed, but it's so big? Any idea?

I have no idea, it's supposed to be there according to this picture... I should paint it with aluminium color.

Thank you :)

Nice clean build.Great job of detailing the interior and engine bay.

Willimo, I think your right on that one. It looks like hood support

Great build. That is indeed the hood support but it's also part of the mechanism for the in-car hood release. Remember this car has a forward opening hood so the release can't be up in front of the radiator like most american iron vehicles of that era.

That’s a really great build Lambrusco.
I have two S800 to build, the normal and the racing one, and that decoration is far beautiful than the standard Tamiya one.
As for the build it’s perfectly flawless. Excellent.
