Hi Gang,
This is my first post, greetings!
I own a 1999 GTP. The other day I awoke to the sound of it's alarm ringing and discovered that someone had stolen the driver's side door moulding. This is the plastic trim that goes on the bottom of the outside of the door and runs the lenght of the door. I called the dealer and (at jobber price) the part costs $ 178.00 unpainted. I find that a little steep for a piece of moulded plastic. Is there an aftermarket company that sells these? Any help is appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
G

personally junk yards are best place for pieces like those, usually only $10-$30 and local automotive paint should match it real cheap, a few people parting out gp's on ebay, as far as vendors reproducing the stock skirt haven't seen any except full body kits. still can't believe someone would still the skirt, i had 12 black lug nut caps stolen w/in 3 days but replaced lugs with chromes and then replaced wheels.

The fact that it's $178 unpainted is probably the reason the poor soul decided to go out and steal one!
I haven't had any lug covers stolen, but I was missing 4 when I got the car, and lost one since. Speaking of which, I just remembered, the one I ordered is in...gotta go pick it up tomorrow.

my theft prevention is a shotgun, seems to work pretty well, haven't had any problems since.
