sunroof wont shut...

I have a problem with my sunroof....it opens fine and closes to a certain point fine but then it just stops....it closes till about an inch and it wont close any more but it opens...i checked the track and didnt see anything blocking the path. someone help please! thanks

I dunno, but if you need to manually close it, there is a little wrench in the vinyl pounch in your rear hatch by the spare tire. Check your user manual--had to do this to my sunroof recently!

I know it sounds retarded, but I did it many times. Check to make sure that the cover for the sunroof (the headliner type thing that covers it up and makes it no longer a sunroof) is all the way back. if it's not, the sunroof won't close. That happened to me a couple times before I figured it out. if not that then go with the wrench thing. I can't think of anything else but somethin being stuck

Maybe the motor is goin bad, kinda like with the windows, they go up so far then stop.

yea i think the motor is goin bad...its weird tho because it opens and closes some no problem...i checked the cover and it was all the way back...i dont kno for sure what it is tho..thanks
