I got a pretty simple question for you. I'm new to Audi so... There's much I gotta learn on these cars... I've seen an Audi Quattro A4 97 for sell and I was wondering, what is the year range of this model??? From the info I got on the web, Audi A4 95 to 98 would be the same model. I hope you understand what I mean... I.e. Acura Integra 90 to 93 are same model, Acura Integra 94 to 97 another model and Acura Integra 98 to 01 another model... Thx a lot for your help guys

Body styles seem to stay consistent but in 1997 they made a 30v engine in stread of the orginal 12v. But they only made the 30v in Europe so if you want to have a shure deal of having the 30v get a 1998 other than that mostly ever thing has stayed the same.

96-01 are essentially the same bodystyle...
things like headlights, tailights, sidemarkers, and such have some subtle differences...

this'll help..

the body styles and most of the interior stayed the same from 96 to 01...however there are things like a new stereo, different gauges, etc. that are just improvments like in any car...the 2.8 liter V6 has been in the car since 96...it started as a 12 valve system which produced 172 hp and in 98 they switched to a 30 valve system which produced 190 hp...in 97 they added a 1.8 turbocharged 4 cyclinder engine that produced 150hp...in 02 they changed the design of the car but roughly stayed similar...added flare and the usually stuff to a new generation...they beefed up the 1.8 engine and dropped the 2.8 for a 3.0...the 1.8 now produces 170 hp and the 3.0 produces 220hp...so thats all the info i can give you from the top of my head...hope that helped...oh and of course they are all available in AWD and im almost positive that they are all available in either a 5-speed auto or manual...i dont know about the latest model of the number of gears though...it could be 6 in the manual
