I propose a forum for totally custom vehicles. I noticed in the motorcycle forums, that theres only a section for street bikes (which consists only of sport bikes) and theres a section for dirt bikes. I propose a section for custom choppers. It is unknown to me whether or not there would be a great deal of members interested in this topic. Some of the topics this section would include would be:
Custom tins (sheetmetal)
welding practices
electric and wiring
rolling chassis kits
aftermarket parts links
Fabrication
Paint practices
I also propose a section for other customs, such as lowriders and any other custom vehicles . this section would include topics such as:
Lowering
airbags
hydraulics
wheels and tires
paint
This could all be incorporated as follows
Extreme Customs (forum title)
Choppers (sub-title)
Lowriders (sub-title)
let me know what you guys think. I think this would be a fun category, and its kind of a hobby of mine. :iceslolan

I'm confused as to why you say the street bike category only covers sport bikes.
Can't Harleys and the like run on the street?

yes. custom bikes can also run on the streets. I saying that 99% on the discussion in the street bike forum is geared toward sport bikes. If i went on the street bike forum and started discussing, pounding out and welding a custom fuel tank, i dont believe i would get many responses.
