guage cluster

i have a 89 240 coupe and it has the stupid digital speedometer that reads off the winshield now i was wondering if i could take that cluster out and stick a new cluster in without the digital and have a normal speedometer like every other car or will i have to wire a bunch of stuff up like take mine out and put a hatchback style in it just plug it in thanks alot

yes you can but you will have to get the wiring harness from the analog as well as the gauge. Also you will have a hole in the dash or that device sitting there with no use. Just make sure you get the right gauge though since the 240sx has 2 different engines and the gauges are not compatible(meaning you can't use a dohc gauge on a sohc engine and vice versa).

that stupid digital speedo is worth more than the other ones. if i were u i'd keep it..

then how can i get it to work all it reads is 0 mph is it because i dont have the sticker on the winshield it points at to read or what??? and will it work with my soon to be sr20 motor??
