Correct. In 1983 they offered a 12a turbo first gen. It had a carbed non intercooled 12a.

only in Japan though I think dayna... but I don't know that much about what different models they have there so I could be wrong too

they made the turbo first gen pretty much everywhere but america.

BUT the question was "when was the first rx7 offered with turbo?" Not when was the first rx7 in america offered with a turbo...
