Rear Seat Removal

I have a 1992 Nissan 240sx S13 Hatchback model. I am trying to take the back seat out of it. I have the two side bolts out at the bottom but the clamps up top are holding it into place. I have a Chilton service book for it and all it says to do is that once you remove the bolts to lift straight up but it's not working. So any ideas as to anything that might be holding off the seat in order for it to be removed. Any suggestions are welcome... Thanks

for the top piece, pull on the two tabs on top and lower it down so it is flat like the bottom. Remove the two screws on each side of the "hinges" and pull it out. Very simple....the bottom one doesn't even need any tools. All you have to do is find two tabs under the seat and pull them and lift up the bottom portion.
