VSS install Questions! need reply ASAP!!!!!!!!

hey guys,
doing the B16 in my Si and have the factory VSS in the tranny....now, I have the SiR guage cluster and have the wire run for the speedo....now, question is, there are three wires on the VSS on teh tranny....yellow, blue, black. where do they go? I THOUGHT the yellow went to the speedo, blue to ECU and black to ground, but for some reason I think this might not be correct!?
HELP!!!!!!! trying to install tomorrow, sunday....email or post, thanks!
