I hate to play the poor sport here but an insurance company isnt going to junk a 99 Camaro for just a "bumper and 1 light" thats about what $1000.00 to replace + painting. A brand new front bumper cover is 407.00+100.00 for the absorber & impactbar+ $40.00 for the turnsignal assm.+300 for the headlight assm. thats only $847.00, something else had to be wrong with it and with it having a rebuilt title your not going to get $10,500. Not when you could just look around and find one that doesn't have a rebuilt title close to that price unless, you run into some dumba$$..........LOL

those a$$holes really are like that here, were trying to get another car for sale but it keeps failing inspection, just beacuse of a motherfing reciept for the airbags, this is the 2nd time today it failed...
and it was in a crashed car dealer for $5k with the bumper and accesories behind bumper and a cracked lamp, why cant you believe me, a woman was driving it before, and she didnt know how to fix that simple thing, and then i ended up to get it at the dealership

and it is supposed to be around 13k, its just my uncle wants it sold really fast, because he needs the money to visit his girl in Poland, and we need the money to buy more crashed cars, and now since we arent officially dealers so we cant go to auctions, and during one of the inspections we met a guy that has a dealer and we can go to auctions with him, so we need the money really badly ok, because we advertised this camaro first time $13k, then 3 weeks later $12k noone ends up even calling, so now we needed to lower the reserve we at least want $11k though...OK?

Like i said before man, theres no way in hell your going to get $10,500 outta that thing, not with a rebuilt title. You might be able to get $6000 but I would doubt you'd get anything more than that unless you find a sucker who doesnt know anything about cars. LOL. I understand some woman may have had the car and didnt know how to fix it. Not to mention the fact that I've never heard of a dealer who just sells wrecked cars unless it was a junk yard and most states wont let junk yards sell cars. Anyway her insurance company isnt going to junk it because of maybe $1500 damage. Something else had to be wrong with it like the whole front end was demolished and twisted, engine went through the firewall something big had to happen for it to be totaled. I went to Hawks (http://www.hawksthirdgenparts.com/camaro_parts) and got prices for all the stuff that needed replaced man and it only adds up to about $1000 plus paint. Sorry Im not trying to be rude but your storry just doent add up man sounds kinda fishy to me.
A freind of mine has a 96 Ford Escort wagon that he only paid $5000 and he got hit from behind, it tore up the whole rear suspention and messed things all the way up to the block because of the exhaust, bowed the frame and the persons insurance whos fault it was paid over $5000 to fix it and thats on a 96 Escort Wagon.

I had an insurance write off 94 cavalier that had been hit in the front tire. I got it for next to nothing and fixed it up, minus the airbags, drove it for a while, but i couldnt sell it for nothing. Even though the exact same car, unbranded title would sell for around 7500 i couldnt even get 3000 for it.
I ended up trading it in at a dealership for a new car and they gave me 3400 for it. Thats the best bet as far as im concerned for dumping off branded cars.
