88 Camry Dashboard removal!!!!!

My car is a hooptie to the fullest, and I guess I'm just trying to upgrade its status to a classy hooptie. I just bought a CD player and had it installed. Along with the CD player i bought some speakers that I asked my brother to install. The problem is, the speakers are behind this metal box thingy, which is behind the dashoboard, which he can't remove. He's taken out five screws but he's still stuck... How can he get it off? Oh yeah, will the same thing happen with the speakers in the back?
