is there any way that a rb26dett would bolt in2 a z31 without TOO much money?

www.z31.com should have more answers then any of us here.
And I'm sorry to say that you won't be getting a RB26 powered Z31 for any amount that could be described as "not too much".
Figure probably atleast $9,000, more like $12,000 depending on how much as to be custom made for the swap. That and the engine itself is not exactly cheap. Just get a stock turbo Z, unless you absolutely have to have the RB26. And a note about that, an RB is still going to take alot of money to get "600hp easy" or whatever people are claiming about them. You still got to buy all the same intake, exhaust, boost controller, intake plenums etc and so on.

u have to get the rb26dett and then the rb25GTS-t tranny because the rb26 6-speed would not work considering that their speed sensor is in their rear end. the engine and tranny alone would cost you around $5-6k

Well you know the speed sensor thing and then the fact that the RB26s transmission is a 4wd model.
