help. removing panel for radio installation.

can someone please tell me how to remove the panel which has the a/c and radio behind it? 1996 xr7. i want to install my radio and as simple as this seems, i cant figure it out. will it be easy to install once i get the panel off? suggestions. installing a sony cdx mp4.

on the front of the radio in each corner is a hole. There is a tool you can buy at your automotive store specially made for removing radios. It fits in those holes and but moving it around in those holes it will release the catches that hold the radio in, No need to remove the face plate
