for anyone who doesnt know there was a vid posted about a few months ago about a zo6 racing a wrx for $900, the wrx smoked the zo6 both times and the guy in the zo6 didnt pay the guy in the wrx and the zo6 guys friends beat the guy in the wrx up for having a faster car :disappoin well this is part 2 enjoy

part 1:
zo6 races a wrx.
zo6 owner thinks the wrx is stock, and bets 500 on it.
loses.
hardcore.
wrx isn't stock (video shows this through sound)
zo6 owner pusses out.
one of his friends hits the wrx owner.
zo6 owner gets cornered in a parking lot by a ton of people, trying to talk himself out of owing 500 dollars.
big angry mess.
cops show, for reasons above.

You didn't miss much if you didn't see the video. The whole time I just read the captions. Some of these vette drivers think they are untouchable, it makes me mad to see someone back out of a bet like that. They thought they were just going to get a free $500.

yeah that shit is just plain unexceptable in my book, dont bet cash if your not prepared to lose it

This is why I don't bet money on races. Had a similar incident with a guy losing $50 to a friend of mine and wouldn't pay up, the other guys friend sucker punched me when they ran out of ways to try and talk themselves out of paying up. At least have a 3rd party hold on to the money.

I have to agree if you race for money dont race until both sides put down and a third side holding it

crappy ending to a crappy way to handle a loss

Good solution to this problem would be to quit going to organised street races and just work the on-street encounters. There's no bets, you just go, and what happens happens.

Plus, the un-expected is usually more fun i think. :2cents:
