2001 Dodge Stratus R/T annoyances/problems

Hey, I'm a newb... used the forum to reasearch before I bought the car. It's impossible to find information on these things!
Bought the R/T in May and loved it. However, I've noticed several small things I would like to fix/replace and need some help.
A) Cruise Control is inop. I've tried everything except taking it in to get looked at. Does anyone have, or has had, a similar problem?
B) 4-disc CD Changer has malfunctioned (factory system)
Disc-1 will load, but won't play--only clicks, and ejects.
Disc-2 will load and play just fine and will eject.
Disc-3 won't load so I don't know if it plays.
Disc-4 won't eject, so Crystal Method is stuck in there permanently--I don't even like them that much! :banghead:
C) Auto-dim rear view mirror is stuck between normal and dimmed. Again, I can technically live and operate the vehicle fine, it's just annoying! Has anyone had a similar problem with their auto-dim mirrors?
D) I would also like to note that it had an engine mount broke, but that's not a biggie for me.
So, are these common problems or am I a lone ranger?
Finally, I really want a keyless entry system. I went to my local Dodge dealership, and they said I was not able to install a Dodge remote system on my car. I personally think that's a little bogus. I completely understand that it's a Mitsubishi, but I want it to look factory. Can someone explain or clarify or denounce my local dealership?

wow...i'd take it back to them and have them fix everything...what day in May did u get it? that may determine if u can bring it back or not. and u already broke an engine mount? and that's no biggie for u?

Yeah, I kinda expected it to happen after I looked the car over. Everything was perfect when I got it. I'm not as concerned about taking it back, as I am figuring out if they are common problems or not. Above all, I'm letting other 2001 Dodge Stratus R/T owners know about the problems I have had. I know on my last car, a 1993 Ford Probe, all of my problems are consistent problems, leaking head gasket, bad radiators, blah, blah, blah. I just couldn't find jack when I was looking for information on mine.

I also have an '01 Stratus R/T. I bought mine new. Anyway, the mirror problem you have is normal. I've had 2 mirrors (broke my first one) and both of them never actually gave a true clear reflection when the tinting feature was off. It always has a green haze.
I have never had problems with my cruise control. However, you have to push the button in on the end of the stalk so that it says cruise on the dash(in green) before it will work at all.
As far as the motor mount. DO not buy another one from the dealer. They are junk. There is a company at http://www.deyemeracing.com who makes mounts for our cars. I have used their mounts and they are 100% better and I can't break it. ( I beat the hell out of my car, it's a stick)
One word of advice, if you have the factory 17" rims, watch out for potholes, they bend VERY easy, and are not cheap. I replaced all four TWICE at around $350 a piece. Finally I bought a set of ARE Estrella's (perfect replacement, will fit same tire and all) and they were cheap at $120 a piece. So far I haven't bent one yet, they are lighter than stock, and everyone says they look much better. :-) Also, the Goodyear RSA are the factory tires, These are also horrible tires. They do really bad in the wet weather and are very soft. I think almost any other tire you put on, you will notice an improved difference.
Enjoy,
Allen

Thanks a ton, it helps to know that other owners are privy to what's going on. I haven't had any other trouble, so that's good. All of my issues are things I can live with, and it *was* a used car so I'll take the good with the bad. Anyone else with a comment is welcome to respond!
