Hello ,
The car was bottomed out , and the front trans/motor mount , the one right behind the radiator is cracked . This has caused the transaxle roller bearing and the spider gears in the carrier assembly , or spider gear assembly , to self destruct . The assembly unit cost $ 381.00 , and I can understand that , but $ 271.00 for the mount just seems stupid . Any suggestions on where to get this mount for less ? Also , the metal from the roller bearing that was destroyed had to go into the transmission . I was told the magnet in there would catch all this stuff . I'm concerned , should I be ?
