Misbehaving Headlights on BMW316 (96)

Hi guys i have 316 (96) model i just bought it a month ago from past few weeks my headlights are misbehaving sometime its on fine but some or most of the time its not turning on so if i leave the switch on while driving after some time its back on again by it self but its keep doing it u guys have any idea about this problem please please help me out i just want know wats exactly problem.thanks

Hi, I had this problem recently, after much playing with connections and wiring I found out it was the bulb, it had a slight short in the base which made it work intermittently. :banghead:
