Saw Shrek 2

I went and saw Shrek 2 tonight and despite my internal forecast calling for a shitty movie, I was quite surprised by how good it was. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't a movie for the ages and you won't see it up next to Casablanca, however it did manage to deliver some good laughs, and didn't recycle old jokes from the original Shrek. This movie was worth my money, and was actually quite funny in a cute, unoffensive way (unless your a hardcore religious type, in which case everything is probably offensive to you). A good, clean movie for all ages, and definately worth your money. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go dig up the old Puss' n' boots book from my childhood and revisit some memories.

I saw it with a cute dirty saffy ;)

I was in such a grump, the only thing in the movie that made me smile was the cat when he held his hat in his paws and did that face. You know the one. With the big black eyes. Yep, that one.

I went and saw it with my girlfriend, and after seeing the cat I got the feeling that on a scale of cuteness, I dropped a few notches. How am I supposed to compete with Puss' n' boots...except for the whole being real and stuff.

Yah well after seeing it with Toksin, and comparing him and the cat, there's no way he can be on the cuteness scale.

It'll only be cute if you have a cape, sword, hat and thigh high boots.

I saw Sherk 2 also. Its funny when I saw all the women said "AHHHH Its so cute!" when the saw the cat with those huge eyes. It made me laugh a bit when they said that.

I haven't seen it yet, but I heard from a few friends that it was very good. I've been meaning to see it...hopefully soon.

The thing I liked most about it was the constant running joke of referring to other movies....some were absolutely blatant[mission:Impossible,Alien,Flashdance],but some were really obscure in-jokes.When Shrek and Donkey are persued in the potion factory, watch out for the reference to Wallace And Grommitt!

I'm not going to bother with Shrek 2, until I get really bored and don't have anything to do.
