I couldn't say for sure, but there is a forum specifically for this type of question. Try in the Car Comparison boards under Cars in General. You will get more replies.

From my experiences:
220hp / 3000lb car is gonna be a bit faster than your 3500lb car, with 205hp, sadly. But I'd say that you might be able to get a jump on him with the extra torque, you'd certainly lose ultimately, down the quarter mile, or to 60.

Dragoon, yeah, thats what i thought to. The real advantage the bird has got is of coarse the rwd/ with ALOT of weight transfer for better traction. I would GUESS that the maxima off the line(fwd) would smoke its tires alittle, i would pull ahead, then say 70 feet he WOULD pass me.

Maybe... but I dun see either one being incredibly fast. However, add a single power adder, say nitrous, and the T-bird would have the advantage... displacement amplifies power adders after all.

I ran a friends 93 Maxima from a 60mph start I won. I'm sure it was due to the torque, but off the line he would hand it to me. But my exhaust sounded better lol.
