i have an HKS turbo timer. Its not a difficult installation, i would definitely recommend investing 15 bucks for the wire harness.

I dropped the lower part of my driver's side dash, 4 bolts, two on the bottom side, and then 1 behind the side mirror controls and one behind the rear winshield wiper control, just use a flat head screw driver to pop them out so you can undo the screws. Also, undo the kick panel which is on the side of the center console. There's a little knob there near your knee if you sit in like your driving your car, pop that off and unscrew the screw, and then there's another screwish looking thing near the accelerator pedal, you can just pull the panel and it'll come out. Now for the wiring harness, there is a harness somewhere up under the dash behind the steering wheel, i think its blue colored. Just get on your back inside your car and look behind the a/c vent thats just under the dash, once you find the blue wiring harness connector, then just pull it apart, insert the wiring harness for the turbo timer, and then put it all back together. Then you'll probably need to tap into the e-brake. Look by the e-brake and you'll see a wire, thats the e-brake wire, just splice into it. And finally, you'll probably need to splice into a few connecitons into the ECU, well, again you already have the kick panel off so the ECU is right there. You'll probably need to find a diagram of the ECU and see what pins you need to tap into. If you get on apexi-usa.com and look for the s-afc wire installation, they have a diagram for our ECUs on there and will probably show the pins that you need.
