My dad owns a 1969 Chevelle SS 396/325hp...I was wondering how much it would be worth...He does NOT want to sell it...I am just curious...it is Gold (I don't remember GM's name for it) black penstriping...factory color...newer paint job...the paint still looks nice...as far as I am aware of everything else is factory...Turbo 400 on the Column....Runs Great...Shifts Hard...I am not sure of what rear end ratio it has...Decen't chrome...the back bumper has some chrome rot on it...no rust what so ever...no bubbles or holes...great interior...front bench seat, split seat to get into the back...Best driving vehicle i have ever driven...but it is just an overall nice car... I will be out of town for a couple days and wo'nt have access to a computer but if you have questions about it just ask
thanks
P.S. 50,259 orig Miles
Sheded...Car Cover...Taken great care of it...Summer Driven (not very often...but when...it is driven for a couple hours....very well maintened) if something dosen't work...it is fixed right, not just rigged up to work then...Not Driven into the ground...(well....its a muscle car...the gas to the floor is not somehting all uncommon)
P.S.
I keep remembering more and more stuff....it is a 12 bolt with factory Front disc brakes...power steering, power brakes, factory ac...(not hooked up...but came factory with it)
thanks

I believe the car color is Olympic Gold Metal. As far as the car value, it would be very difficult to give an accurate answer without seeing the car. Moreover, price guides may provide you an astronomical price, but loan instituations most likely only loan X amount on it, and one may never get the price they are seeking. It depends on the buyer and seller. I would expect the car to get at least 18K up to ? depending on a buyers personal desire at the time of sale. One could also check out auction websites/car sites to see how simular cars are selling on the market.

well i think your lucky for your dad to have that car. my parents used ot live back in minesota and my dad had a 68 caprice with a 396 and 4 speed, hiden headlights umm and lots of other stuff but i cdant remember. it was fully loded pretty much. all factory by the way. and he also had a 69 chevelle with a 396 and 4 speed from the factory. i dont knwo alot of details on that car. all i know is it had a SS hood, it was not an ss though i dont think, and its was like red with white stripes i think. but anyways, they decided to move out to Arizona for work for my dad. and he had to decide to keep one of the cars. my mom had her little 89 plymouth horizone. they kept that and he decided to keep the caprice instead of the chevelle thinking it would be work more later in life. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. why the hell couldnt he just have someone else drive it out there with him and then fly back. that makes me so mad now days. i could have had that, (cuz my dad hasnt sold any of his cars). we still ahve the 68 caprice and sence have aquiered another 68 caprice wagon, a 67 chevelle, a 73 challenger, and a 71 montecarlo that was a parts car(we did sell the rest of that though), and my 68 chevelle. if your like me i cant wait for my dad to die so i can have all the cars( yeah yeah it sounds bad but its true in a way). oh and its probably worth 15-20 G's if it is factory, aside form the paint obveousely like you said, and especaily if you ahve any paperwork.

68chevelle.... How can you say you can't wait for your dad to die, so you can get some cars?!? can you be any more materialistic? My dad owns a muscle car/corvette business, and i'd rather have a living dad than all the cars - including a REAL 1986 Lamborghini Countach. Seriously, consider what you said.....
