Buying a Skyline from Japan.....

Hi guys,

I was just surfin' on by and luckily came across this forum. I am real glad I found it. Basically, I am having LOTS of trouble finding a Skyline to buy, and I need anyone's help/suggestions/experiences.

I live in Cyprus (Mediterranean Sea) RHD Country :) , and lots of Japanese used cars are impoorted here, but no-one is able to find me a Skyline In Japan. I have tried going to several Japanese car dealer websites and looking at their online inventory (and auction listings), but I also can't find any...

I am looking for a 1997 GTR VSpec (or newer) but am greatly limited by budget. I might be able to get a 1996 but no older than that. The law over here forbids cars older than 5years :(

ah it would be fun to have a gtr in on cyprus and even take it to grecce for a run down the national road from athen to thessaoniki. there are a number of auction sites and others mail me and I'll give you some details the main thing is you knowing what to do do get you car in and approved.

I am really looking forward to it.. As far as what to do when the car is finally at Port Customs over here, I should be OK. I have already sorted the legality part out.
