still having problems installing rear speakers

I'm new to the forum, what's up everyone! My parents just got my max for me a couple of months ago and i love it, but i don't have bose :( so i bought some pioneers for the rear deck. the problem is that i cant figure out how to take the old speakers out. :confused: someone told me to pry the grills off, but i think it will break something, then someone told me to go through the trunk, but it looks like they are screwed in from the top. i'd appreciate if someone could help me out. thanx!!
