power window not working

I have a 95 grand am SE and the passenger side window is not working correctly. It only seems to work when it wants to and when it does work at all it only goes like half an inch or so at a time and if you push it a little bit it will go a little bit more. Now I have no idea what is causing this problem so can anyone help me out, please?!

Had the same problem. Probably the window motor/regulator. Get one from a j/y it is to expensive new. Pull door panel off. There are 4 big rivets that need drilled out, then two bolts that hold the glass in. U can just replace the rivets with bolts.
